A royal blue heather crew neck printed in white. The front carries "JEWEL CITY CROSSFIT" across the chest in two lines of outlined block capitals, cut with notches and angled ends, and the R in CROSSFIT kicks its leg out below the line. The back is a full coat of arms. A knight's helm with a narrow visor slit and rows of breathing holes sits above a pair of rounded shoulder plates, and below them the shield carries the gym's diamond emblem over the monogram, with JC and CF split by a Y-shaped division. Two Olympic barbells cross behind it all where swords would usually be.
Long before team logos and jerseys, a coat of arms told everyone who you rode with on the field of battle. With a knight's face hidden behind a helm, the crest on the shield was the identity. In the centuries that have passed, we have traded lances for barbells and war hammers for kettlebells. The "weapons" may have changed, but this shirt is a nod to the fact that some workouts are downright medieval.
